Mr. Becket became an accredited senior member of the ASA in 1986 and served as president of its’ Connecticut Chapter in 1991-92. He is one of the few business appraisers in Connecticut to have also earned the CBA designation from The Institute of Business Appraisers. In addition to specializing in minority discounting of family business assets for estate and gift tax purposes, Mr. Becket has testified in dissenting shareholder actions and divorces.
